Brooks Avenue helps the work at Naggs Head, North Carolina by supplying partial monthly support for a preacher.

The Seaside church of Christ began meeting on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in 1987. They first began meeting in the Kitty Hawk elementary school at mile post 1 in Kitty Hawk. Brooks Ave. arranged for men to visit and preach for the Sunday worship. In 1997 they began renting a building located at mile post 11 in Nags Head. Since their first service on the island they have steadily grown in attendance to about 25 local members. During the spring and summer seasons the church is blessed with hundreds of visiting brethren. Their record attendance was 99 during the summer season. June 2002 they hired a full-time preacher. Brother Donnie McGhee is a former 1996 graduate of East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions. He is married with two sons.
