Dear brethren,

Cheers and well wishes to you all! My back incision is not yet fully healed but it is almost closed now. Somehow on account of need, I will join the health mission in Siquijor Island less than three weeks from now. After that I will go to faraway Panay Island for a debate on the 28th!

I chaired the church forum last Sept 2nd and my son EmolDwayne who had been quite active in pursuing home bible studies participated along, with the various ministries leaders. That day I was also able to finish a sermon. The next day, Sept.3, I busied myself in making the sermon outline book. On the 4th and 5th I did the same with so much progress done. On the 6th ¡ went to Midtown church and counseled a brother who is separated from his mate. Earlier that day I pursued my book writing also.

The 7th was a very busy day for me as I handled a class, was the morning and evening speaker too. On the 8th I devoted myself to the computer pursuing the sermon outline book writing. I chaired the church forum again on the 9th but prior that immersed myself in writing. Even the 10th was spent with the computer. I unwound myself on the 11th but on the l2th was at it again. The speaker on Sunday morning, Sept.14 was sick, and they asked me to replace him when the worship was starting. So I taught a Sunday class and was again the morning and evening speaker that day! It is good when one has a surplus of sermons and the congregation knows about it!

They asked me to chair the forum on the 16th. We discussed a lot of things, reviewed the past activities, evaluated the tasks done during the week and made plans for the following days. The succeeding days were spent in sermon writing and studies thus on the 21st I was again the speaker during the morning and evening assemblies. I also taught a class that day. The 22nd was a very fruitful day with so much writings done. On the 23rd I chaired again the church forum. In the afternoon we opened the envelopes of bidders coming from various drug companies as we geared ourselves for the Medical-Dental Mission to faraway Siquijor Island this Oct. 20-26, travel time included. We are now purchasing medicines from the winning bidders. The 24th was a BPFLC meeting that I joined and in the evening I participated in a joint fellowship of the different zone bible study groups.

I was unable to pursue my writing on the 25th as the computer bogged down. The following days were spent in studies and gathering of materials for the book but on the 28th I handled a class and was again the morning and evening speaker at Midtown. On the 29th I got distress text messages and call from faraway Cebu and Panay islands. They are harassed by an anti preacher and they needed a debater on the issue of benevolence. I accepted the offer and started reviewing on the subject. The 1st of Oct. was another forum joined but yesterday and today printed my charts for the debate. In the time past ¡ used paper charts only, but now they are made of cloth so I can re-use them over and over. My son will be speaking in the morning of Oct.5 and I will be speaking in the evening Lord willing!

Brethren, I got the check today! Thank you so much for all your prayers and financial backings so the gospel of Jesus Christ could also be preached on this side of the globe! Blessings on you all!

Yours m His love and labors,
