Winterfest 2008- Winterfest is coming up soon!
February 15-17 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Everyone planning to attend please have your registration fee turned in to Paul Nelson by January 20th. For more information, please contact Paul Nelson at 550-2818. Also, you can visit the Winterfest website. Please Note: All updated medical information forms should be turned in to Ruthann Smith as soon as possible.

Youth Bible Study- Our weekly youth bible study started back up at the beginning of January. We will be studying parables. We have been meeting on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm at the church but I am open to alternative times and locations. Please call Mike Loeffler (468-0761) with any suggestions.

Teens - don't forget! Our monthly Celebrate needs your devotional thoughts, poems, favorite scriptures, stories about teen events (with pictures!). We want to have a Youth page every month. The deadline each month is the 15th. Please send any ideas to include in upcoming issues to Ruthann Smith at mandrsmith@nc.rr.com.

If you are available and interested in babysitting, please send you name, age, hourly rate (if you know it) to office@brooks.org. Please also include if you have attended the American Red Cross Babysitting course and/or CPR training. We are compiling a list of Brooks Babysitters as a resource for parents.

Community Service Hours: Do you need community service hours to graduate from high school? Please remember that any volunteer work in the nursery, Kingdom Kids, Food Pantry and Clothing Closet, and service projects to the church (ex. painting the Office deck) can be counted towards the community service hours you need to graduate from high school! If you would like your church volunteer hours to count towards your high school community service hours, please email office@brooks.org with the following information after your service: date of service, type of service, and hours of service. Then when your high school calls the church office to confirm your service, we will have all the information we need in the church office to verify your service. Thank you for your serving hearts!
