II Corinthians (Continued)
Lindsey Garmon - Auditorium

Paul loved the Corinthian church, yet in this ancient city, he seems to have had bitter enemies who dogged his steps constantly and undermined his ministry continually. In this letter, we are able to see how Paul made it in the hard times of life! He tells what it is like to stand on the mountaintop of victory! Yet he also writes about a time in his life when he was under such great pressure that he faced great despair! He experienced it all – the joy of victory and the agony of defeat. This letter, more than others written by Paul, allows us to see what went on at the feeling level of this great missionary. He writes from his heart! He expressed his deep feelings. If you are going through tough times and need some helpful insights that will enable you to cope and overcome, a study of this letter will make a difference.

Beth Moore Series
Debby Bentley & Donnicia Pepper, coordinators - Room 10

"Breaking Free: Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life" will be the title of this eight month series. The theme comes from the book of Isaiah because it is a book about the captivity of God's children, the faithfulness of God, and the road to freedom. The nature of this study is likely to bring us to deep and personal places. For everyone to get the most out of this experience, attendance needs to be as consistent as possible. There will be a video one week and a small group the following week. There is a workbook that requires approximately 30 minutes of homework time per lesson. The cost of the book is $15.
