Reaching out to N. C. State and other local campuses, our campus outreach has two core purposes in moving students into a deeper relationship with God: to provide a healthy culture for spiritual maturity and to make Jesus relevant to the campus culture.
Encourages the use of artistic skills as a means of serving and encouraging others.
This ministry is for those who would like to use their gifts in the creation, writing, directing, and/or production of meaningful drama presentations for the building up of the Body of Christ.
Our spiritual education ministry group coordinates all Sunday morning and Wednesday night classes for all the Brooks Ave. family, providing healthy teaching for spiritual growth.
Encouragement Card Ministry
Coordinates the work of sending various types of encouragement cards to newcomers, visitors, members, the sick, the grieving, those who are away from home, etc.
Seeks to provide a warm welcome to visitors and members for our Bible study and assembly times.

Practice English with Internationals
Practice English with Internationals is a ministry to foreign people who are in our area generally and others who meet daily in our building as part of Wake Tech’s , English as Second Language(ESL) program. We use Friendspeak materials, which are prepared English lessons using Bible stories that allow readers to practice English while learning of God and His word.
The primary purpose of this team is to assist the congregation in praise and worship music during our Sunday assemblies. We also sing occasionally for shut-ins and at other events, such as funerals or special gatherings.
Special Needs Ministry
Love and concern are shown to children with special needs as well as their families. A specialized curriculum and trained caregivers are provided for the children during Sunday Bible study and worship periods, allowing parents an opportunity to study and worship. This ministry also includes other events for families and the community including our Annual Spring Carnival.
Oversees and maintains the congregational data base, hardware and software needs, networking functions, sound and lighting systems, taping, and web site responsibilities.
Recognizing Jesus’ love and compassion for the outcasts in his culture and that there is a place at the table of Jesus for all, this is a ministry that reaches out to the marginalized people of inner city Raleigh.

Lovingly led by parents, our ministry to our teens seeks to foster and develop an ever-deepening faith in Jesus Christ in their lives, equipping them for service in the kingdom of God.
