Our Mission Statement: moving people into a deeper relationship
About 500 people attend Brooks Avenue each Sunday, and we have dozens of volunteers working hard to make sure all visitors are welcomed and encouraged, and to ensure that your experience with the Lord’s church is one you will remember.
The congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. You’ll see people in the pews dressed in all styles – from jeans to business suits. Brooks Avenue offers worship that is designed to draw us closer to God, singing that reflects the music of our hearts and sermons from God’s word that are relevant and application driven.
Children are welcome to attend worship services; we also offer a fully staffed nursery for children ages 6 months to 2 years old. We also have a Kingdom Kids worship service especially for children (ages 2 years through kindergarten) on Sunday morning

“The Inconvenient Truth” from John 18:38.
Truth is not so much a what, but a who. Pilate asked the question of Jesus, and then didn’t even wait for a reply; he just turned and walked away. John seems to be contrasting Jesus as the truth with truth as expressed in other systems, and is asking his readers, “What will you do when confronted with the Truth?” In the message I will deal with two questons: What is truth? And What will you do with the truth?
